(UP TO 2KMS RETURN WALK) UNEVEN GROUNDS & SURFACES. Cape York Tours require a moderate level of fitness, as some walks to locations are on uneven ground. You will need to be able to carry your own bag to your accommodation. It is requested that all passengers bring a soft bag approx. 300mm x 300mm x 700 mm, wheels are fine. An overnight bag is perfect or duffel type duffle-bag. Your overnight stays quite often reflect he unique nature of the sparsely inhabited regions in which we travel. Your accommodation ranges from resorts and hotels / motels and Station properties in the townships / communities in “No Frills” cabins where no alternative accommodation exists. All are clean and comfortable, the hospitality genuine, open and friendly, and the cuisine generous and appetizing. No porter service is available.
