Coopers Travel was established in Bairnsdale in 1986 and is independently owned and operated by Bill & Lynne Cooper who, with 30 years experience in retail travel, understand the needs and budgets of the Gippsland community. Coopers Travel has become a widely respected agency throughout Country Australia with both service providers and its clients. Bill & Lynne pride themselves in the numerous travel awards won by the agency, but more importantly, the service and sponsorship they have been able to provide to the Gippsland community over many years.

Coopers Travel are committed to giving independent advice, without bias to any particular airline or service provider. This, together with good old fashioned service, leaves you with complete peace of mind when planning your travel arrangements. Meet Bill & Lynne – Owners of Coopers Travel. The heart and soul of Coopers Travel, Bill and Lynne are the husband-and-wife duo who’ve turned their love of travel (and a bit of friendly banter) into a lifelong adventure for well over 40 years!
Their favourite places to explore?Together, they’ve explored countless corners of the world — from the breath-taking peaks of Nepal (a favourite of Lynne’s) to cruising the seas of Alaska (A favourite of Bill’s).
Next on their travel list? Japan, where they hope to set sail onboard an Azamara cruise. And Tambo where they will be hitting the golf course!
Fun Fact: Now enjoying retirement, you’ll likely find them on the golf course, spending time with family and friends, or getting stuck into each other — all in good fun, of course!
Bill’s philosophy? A mix of “She’ll be right” optimism and a healthy dose of humour — while Lynne is still joking that she’s dreaming of long legs and a wet t-shirt competition!
Jen-Morris-Coopers-Travel

Jenny Morris

Manager/ Senior Travel Consultant

Jen is one of our amazing Office Managers and has been part of the Coopers Travel family for 15, almost 16 years, bringing kindness, organisation and a genuine love of travel to everything she does.
Her favourite places to explore? Africa — with its incredible wildlife and wide-open landscapes — or anywhere tropical where she can unwind on a beach with the sun, sand and a drink in hand.
Next stop on Jen’s travel list: no firm plans just yet, but she’s always ready to jump on a plane or in the car for a family holiday to anywhere! 
Outside of work, Jen loves spending time in Seaspray with her little family, and never says no to drinks and catch-ups with the girls.
Fun facts: Jen proudly holds the title of Cob Loaf Queen! Also, on a family trip to Hawaii she met Adam Sandler — after (very politely) following him to the bathroom corridor and waiting for him to come out so she could snag a selfie!

Kathleen is one of our amazing Managers here at Coopers Travel, bringing both warmth and a wealth of experience to the team.
Her favourite place to explore? The United Kingdom — she even lived and worked there for two years after backpacking around the world in her 20s!
Next stop on Kathleen’s travel list: a sunshine escape to Hamilton Island.
Outside of work, Kathleen is a proud mum to teenagers and loves spending quality time with family and friends whenever she gets the chance.
Fun facts: Kathleen has a Bachelor of Education, grew up on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, and while she’s had a few different careers along the way, travel has been her longest love — with over 20 years in the industry. Oh, and you’ll definitely know when Kathleen’s around… her loud laugh is absolutely contagious!

Jenny has been part of the Coopers Travel family for over 30 years — a true asset of the team! With decades of experience and endless travel stories, she’s helped countless clients plan incredible adventures around the world.
Her favourite place? New York City — the city that never sleeps! It holds an extra-special place in her heart, as it’s where her son Sam got married.
Next stop on Jenny’s travel list: She’s got her sights set on ticking off a dream Kimberley Cruise.
Outside of work, Jenny is an avid walker and music lover who enjoys nothing more than a glass of bubbles shared with family and friends. 🥂
Fun fact: Back in the day, Jenny was a proud Australian Crawl groupie — she saw them live around 100 times and still thinks James Reyne is absolutely gorgeous!

Abbey has been part of the Coopers Travel family for 7 years. She’s one of our Senior Consultants and brings a wealth of knowledge to every trip she plans.
Her favourite places to explore? Greece and Italy — she’s obsessed with the stunning coastlines and, of course, the food (pasta + gyros = heaven!).
Next stop on Abbey’s travel list: the USA in June 2026!
When she’s not planning incredible trips, Abbey loves shooting hoops on the netball or basketball court, spending time with her partner and her dog, and enjoying quality moments with family and friends.
Fun fact: Abbey was born on a leap year — so technically, she only has a “real” birthday every four years!

Her favourite place to explore? Antarctica — with its spectacular scenery and incredible wildlife, it’s a destination that completely stole her heart.

Jess joined the Coopers Travel team in January 2025, bringing with her plenty of experience from working in the travel industry overseas. She loves helping clients plan their dream getaways and sharing her passion for exploring the world.
Her favourite place to explore? Other than her beautiful home country of the UK, Jess absolutely loves America — especially New York! The contrast between the buzzing cities and the breath-taking landscapes of the National Parks and countryside makes it one of her top picks.
Next stop on Jess’s travel list: Noosa in November 2025, with a big Canada and Alaska adventure planned for September 2026.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys heading to concerts, getting lost in a good book, spending time with her husband and their sausage dog Bayley, and catching up with family and friends.
Fun fact: Jess has been a dedicated Backstreet Boys fan for over 20 years — and still goes to their concerts whenever she can!
